The REAL ALE FESTIVAL – which took place on 4th, 5th and 6th November 2011 was a great success. Make a note in your diary for next years festival. Entry was free and there was live music on Saturday night when Dolomite Minor played 60′s classics and blues.
All beers were£3.00 per pint. Halves £1.50 The beers available were:
ALLENDALE – GOLDEN PLOVER 4.0%
Top quality blonde ale using only Marris Otter pale malt to give it a light, refreshing clean taste.
BLACK DOG - RHATAS 4.6%
Dark in colour
BLINDMANS - MINE BEER 4.2%
Full bodied copper coloured rich blended malt ale
CHURCH END - VICAR’S RUN
Straw coloured best bitter, delightful hop flavours to a delicate malt finish
FUZZY DUCK - TANGERINE DUCK 4.4%
GRAFTON - BLONDIE 4.8%
CUMBRIAN - LOWESWATER GOLD 4.3%
GERTIE SWEET - DUSTY MAIDEN STOUT 4.4%
GREEN JACK - ORANGE WHEAT BEER 4.2%
Light with grainy citrus and marmalade flavours brewed with Citra hops.
JARROW - RED ELLEN 4.4%
Rich ruby red full bodied ale withcitrus hop aroma
TOWER - MALTY TOWERS 4.4%
TOWNES - IPA 4.5%

Two of our staff, Sue Mowle and Phillippa Cox ran the Great South Run in October2010
They raised the magnificent sum of £1200 for the Stubbington Ark (RSPCA Solent Branch) Animal Shelter.
Well done – a fantastic achievement.
