A fifteen minute ride on a number 35 bus from Fareham will bring you right to the door of this friendly pub where there is always a warm welcome both for old friends and for new customers.
The Crofton won The Camra Real Ale Pub, South East Hants Award in 2006 and is in the Good Pub guide. Our Real Ale Festival this year takes place on November 4th, 5th and 5th. Details here.
The Crofton is famous not just for its well kept cellar of real ales -there is an ever-changing range of 6 real ales on offer- but also for its home cooking. The Crofton menu has a wide choice of food, catering for all tastes. We feature daily specials as well as our basic menu – homemade dishes ranging from fresh fish, vegetarian pasta, pies, gluten free dishes, all with an English and continental flavour. Meals are available for young and old and for those with special dietary needs.
There is always a warm welcome from our bar staff and in the cold winter months there is a welcoming fire in the public bar area.
Children are welcome.
Visitors with special dietary needs are well catered for.
FOOD IS AVAILABLE: Saturday and Sundays, all day 12 noon – 9.30 pm. Monday to Friday 12 noon – 2.30 pm and 6 pm – 9.30 pm. Families are welcome and we offer free dog biscuits for doggy customers!
OUR XMAS MENU IS NOW AVAILABLE- CALL TO BOOK YOUR TABLE
FUNCTION ROOM with a skittle alley is available for hire. Many a happy party has been held here.

QUIZ NIGHTS: 1st Tuesday of each month from 8.30 pm. Everyone welcome.
THE CROFTON GOLF SOCIETY visits several courses throughout the year. All are welcome to join regardless of ability. In 2009 we made a very successful visit to France.
